Rent vs. buy a billboard truck

Renting makes sense when you need a truck for a launch, an event, a political window or a seasonal push — you pay only for the drive days and we carry the maintenance, insurance, storage and driver payroll. Buying makes sense when you plan to run a truck most weeks of the year or want to resell impressions yourself. If that is you, we also sell units out of our working fleet on the LED trucks for sale page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does billboard truck rental cost?
Most single-truck rentals run $1,200 to $1,400 per day, which includes the truck, a professional driver, fuel, a planned route and proof-of-play reporting. Multi-day and multi-truck campaigns are priced lower per day, and short event-only blocks can be quoted hourly.
Does the rental include a driver?
Yes. Every billboard truck rental is fully operated. A trained driver handles routing, screen operation, parking permissions and daily reporting, so you never need a CDL or an insurance rider of your own.
How fast can a truck be on the road?
In our core Northeast markets we can usually launch within 48 to 72 hours. Artwork only needs to arrive roughly 24 hours before the first drive day so we can test it on the screens.
What artwork do I need for a billboard truck?
Static images or video both work. We recommend high-contrast artwork with a short headline, a logo and one call to action. Our team can adapt existing creative or build it from scratch if you do not have files ready.
Can I choose the exact route?
Yes. You can name specific streets, venues, competitor locations or event gates, or let us build the route from traffic and audience data. Either way you get a GPS log showing where the truck actually drove.
Where can I rent a billboard truck?
We operate our own fleet across New England and run campaigns nationwide, including Boston, Providence, Hartford, Manchester, Portland, Charlotte, Raleigh, Indianapolis and Atlanta. See the markets page for every city with a dedicated route plan.
